Lemo Valley

Lemo Valley is the area that Fin Fin gets his daily fruit intake from. Here the Lemo fruit grow in their natural form, on small, spherical bushes. This location has a big of a silly interaction added to it: here, when you push the space bar over and over, it creates a rhythm, and whatever plants and animals are around at the time will react and make their own particular noise to that rhythm, so that it kind of turns into a big giant party. The melody you hear depends on which plants are growing while you are there. The Lemo Valley tends to get sort of annoying after awhile, though, because everything there is so happy and bouncy and musical, but the view of the mountains in the background is quite beautiful.

Flora

Bug House
Grows: End of August - End of March
This looks like just a green pouch shaped object until the rhythm starts, at which point a few small brightly-colored bugs pop out.
Cup Tree
Grows: April - End of June
A stem with several bell-shaped flowers, which making chiming noises to the rhythm. Not really a tree at all, obviously.
Peach Rain Blossom
Grows: February - End of April
A pink-colored version of the rain blossom. The rain blossoms don't really do anything special, just sway back and forth.
Pinwheel Flower
Grows: August - September
This flower appears to be a teardrop-shaped blossom, until the rhythm starts, at which point it unfurls itself to reveal a pointy-petaled flower that rotates.
Pong Plant
Grows: March - End of May
A very brightly-colored blue plant. It holds a small ball, which it often passes back and forth between its two "hands."
Pop Ball
Grows: May - End of August, November - January
This reminds me of those cup-and-ball games. The Pop Ball plant will push the small red ball it holds on its top into the air and then catch it on its return.
Purple Rain Blossom
Grows: June - August
The purple version of the rain blossom.
Slinky
Length: 10 - 20 cm
A mysterious plant which spends the majority of its time off-screen. My friends and I jokingly called the Slinky "The Life of the Party," because as soon as it appears on screen, every other plant in the valley goes absolutely wild with sound. It changes colors with the seasons.
Skypine
Length: 2.5 meters
This is one of the only plants in Lemo Valley that doesn't make any noise. The Skypine is a basically a floating pine tree, with the roots dangling below it. Sometimes the Skypines are all up in the air, and sometimes they are down near the ground and hard to see, and sometimes they are not there at all. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of one shifting its position a bit. They aren't mentioned at all in the Fin Fin Encyclopedia. I don't know what governs whether their position. They're very mysterious...
Yellow Rain Blossom
Grows: End of September - February
The yellow version of the rain blossom.

Fauna

Banana Deer
Length: 1 - 1.5 meters
Its name describes it well. A very small, thin, banana-shaped deer-like creature with antlers. It's bright yellow and curvy, causing it to have an odd, bounding gait.
Eri Frog
Length: 10 - 20 cm
The Eri Frog comes in two colors: blue and green (probably differentiating between the two sexes, although I don't know which is which). It has two bright-colored flaps on the side of its head which occasionally flare up.
no picture yet! Firefly
Length: 4 - 5 cm
At certain times, there are fireflies at the Lemo Valley. If you press the space bar, the fireflies create fireworks in the background. The way these fireflies works is that one has a "light socket" on its face, and the other has the two "prongs," and when they smush their faces together, they create light.
Floating Flora
Length: 20 cm
Floating Flora also appear in the Lemo Valley, though I have seen them only rarely.
Flying Taiko
Length: 10 - 20 cm
I don't know whether to classify this as a plant or animal, but, as with the Floating Flora, it seems to show some signs of intelligence, and so I am leaning towards animal. The Flying Taiko resembles the drums for which it is named. It usually sits still in the grass, but when roused, jumps up pounds itself with "arms," swaying back and forth, making an accordion-type noise.
Pogo Squirrel
Length: 15 - 20 cm
The Pogo Squirrel is a little brown creature similar to a flying squirrel; it has a flap of skin between its arms to its legs. It also has huge black eyes and, oddly enough, a spring on its head!
no picture yet! Popilo
Length: 40 - 50 cm
The Popilo is a very odd-looking creature. It has a very wide head, and looks rather like a monkey. It's very hard to describe.
Snuffy
Grows: 40 - 50 cm
Snuffy is a mole-like creature with a trunk like an elephant's, which it can use to grasp things. They come in two colors, bright orange and bright pink. I'm sure one is male and one is female, but I don't know which is which. It's very cute; it makes whistling noises and is often seen holding a flower with its trunk.
